For a few months, Tuple for macOS has included an alpha feature that allows you to transcribe calls locally. We’ve given the feature a significant upgrade, renamed it Capture, and released it on both macOS and Windows.

The way folks are using Tuple is changing. As more people lean on agents to build software, calls on Tuple look less like traditional pair programming, and instead revolve around big decisions, reviewing work, responding to incidents, and getting unstuck. These conversations contain extremely rich context; when agents can access that context easily, it creates a natural bridge between social interaction and deep work. Capture facilitates that process.

Capture works completely locally. When enabled, it allows you to transcribe what’s said on calls and record screenshots (with annotations!) and metadata about which apps are shown on screen. All of your call data resides on your machine and nothing is sent to the cloud.

Capture lets you do new things with Tuple, ranging from creating call summaries to asking agents to serve as real-time fact checkers. You can connect any agent harness to your calls - either in real time, or after the fact. We’ve designed it to be highly flexible; for inspiration, check out a few ways to use the feature.
